I See You, Denny Poem by Savoir Faire

I See You, Denny

I see you watching from your door.
I see you walking down the sidewalk.
Always sulking, mumbling, with that crazed, but vacant look.
Waving or clapping your hands. I see you fake talking on your disconnected cell phone.
Who walks out their front door to talk to no one on the phone outside?
I see how sad you are in you paranoid, deluded mind.
The police don't care about you. Who you are or what you do.
I see you are just a poor old man who needs a nice haldol shot and a comfy big chair in the day room.
