I Sit Alone Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

I Sit Alone

I sit alone by my window, while the sun is shining through. So do you think I should get outside, maybe even take a look around. Flowers seem to grow in the summer time.

So I sit alone by my window, while the sun is shining through.
Do you hear the birds singing? Its sounds so beautiful to me.

Your voice is sending me the chills. I can hear you crying and it is tearing me apart inside.

But I only sit by my window, while the sun shines through. I take a look around and I see life all around.

Could I even take a walk, just to let my self-go into the nowhere land?
Feels like the wind is moving around me in different directions.

I can even see the trees moving, as if it was alive. But it was only the wind passing by.

Well I only sit alone by my window, while the sun is shining through.
How could it be that I am here, just waiting for you?

You always seem to take your time, but there is no hurry. I will just let the sun rise up from its bed. Until then I will find my way into the nowhere land.
