I Sit Beside My Window Side - Poem by Arijit Mandal
I sit beside my window side,
with a lonely feeling in my heart,
wish u would have been here!
But you are far apart..
I sit beside the window side,
watching the drizzling drops of rain,
wish i could meet you my love,
But alas! I've to suffer the pain..
I sit beside the window side and listen to the sound,
of soft rain drops kissing the ground.
I could hear your voice, tender and clear,
calling my name, and oh my dear!
I threw my window open wide,
to let the beautiful rain come inside.
it kissed my lips, my eyes and my hairs,
and dear i knew that you were there.
Tears that my eyes had not released,
fell down from heaven, and were ceased.
this morning, when the black clouds loudly wept,
I held you in my arms and slept.
