A creature am I built with fragile flesh,
Chasing fleshly traits with mind in ease,
In turns turning towards God's forgiveness,
Know I not why I seek worldly offers,
And why I repeat too many times,
Thoughtless thoughts, worldly conception of thoughts,
Baseless envy, pointless hatred, deviation from Truth,
Yielded to satanic devices and to fall,
Why I know not try this gambling,
My flesh is weak; yet, my spirit longs for Him,
Oftentimes I look at the world and seek its attire,
Know I firmly that the world is a deception.
I keep my soul close to His Word
That He alone keeps me in His Care for Eternity,
My ways are not deliberate; yet I slip down often,
I raise my hands above; but the world pulls my legs down;
Yet I shall pray unto Him to keep me in His Arm,
And He shall my soul unto Eternity with Him.
