I Submit! ! ! - Poem by Suravi Patel

Hurting you, breaks me
Staying mad at you, I can never be

But always something happen
and I want to shout at you,
scold you,
make you feel guilty.

I condemn myself with every going hour
for not taking your as much care.
Loving you, I live
Hating you, I die each moment I live.

But always something happen
and I feel defeated and cry.

Moving away from you, I fear
With you hands to hold, the darkness seems unreal.

But always something happen
and I draw back from the very shadow
that makes me jovial.

Oh! I am getting tired dear
for it seems to have no ending.
Each time I try to reason,
I find a puzzle complicating.

I remember how we started our
'intended-to-be-a-wonderful-joy-drive'.
But whosoever had thought of getting
too much of pain,
for you and me to survive.

When I stand in the still of night
The 'Unspoken things' give me a fright
Then I wonder about the spoken words
Had it been any lesser
that would have put us alright? ?

Going on...
Travelling through the desolate path of our relationship
There is no more desire and expectation.

I give myself up to the sands of time
I allow our togetherness to become
absolutely sublime
or to end
as desolation undefined.
I submit! ! !
