I Think Poem by Saviour Otubelu

I Think

Behold, the heavenly stars, how bright!
I hear the clouds whisper your name each night
The trees kneel before your graceful frame
I think they are also calling your name

Your voice floats in the warm gentle breeze
Your beauty stings like a swarm of starving bees
I cannot withstand your warmth and caress
I think I should call you a goddess

Your awesome figure incarcerates my gaze
The fire of your love sets my heart ablaze
Your love is consistent like a ceaseless stream
I think you’re too perfect not to be a dream

Nothing in the world is stronger than your spell
Forever, in the depths of my heart you dwell
A silver store cannot stand up to your worth
I think you are the scarcest treasure on earth
