I Thought You Were My Friend Poem by Hayley Howe

I Thought You Were My Friend

You said you were there for me,
That you'd never betray me.
I guess that was a lie,
I guess this is good bye.

We used to hang out all the time.
We used to shine.
We were like sisters,
but now there's no trust,
you just lust all over him.

The day we broke up,
is they day you took him.
I thought I could trust you.
That's a mistake.
You're just a fake.

You had two other guys wanting you bad,
now you're just leaving them sad?
They liked you,
one even loved you!
What ever happened to you?

You used to be a whole other person.
Scared to kiss anyone.
Just a couple weeks later,
That was all done.
You kissed more then one!

I thought I could trust you,
I must have thought wrong.
I still love you to death..

Is this some stupid silly game?
Whatever, just don't say my name.
