I'Ve Lost You Poem by Bill Hallsworthy

I'Ve Lost You

what goes up must come down, a train wreck waiting to happen
when love is lost, I can't be happy again
it'll rain for weeks, don't go outside, stay off my feet
your no longer by my side, still I'm glad we met
for a while my life had meaning
but now my head hurts
can't stop bad feelings
am I mad? no but a little sad
I miss what we shared, I miss what we had
I figured take a chance at any cost
but at the end of the road I feel I've lost
they ask whats wrong? they say move on
I say I've lost the battle and I've lost the war
I've lost everything but nothing at all
I've lost what i found but I still want more
I think and I think somemore
could I have taken a different door?
doesn't matter cause I can't see you anymore...
