I Waited For The Stars Today
I waited for the stars today, they never came. I waited for that one moment, when Earth would hush her lament and all would quiet to a soft hum. As the moon would gather her firefly children, she would have them smile upon me, as would she. Then, all my worries would melt away-
I waited for the stars today, they never came.
