A day in your arms
is all that i ask
to stare at your eyes
as the hours go past
coz ive missed you so much
whilst weve been apart
i want to roll in your love
and swan dive
into your heart
and there you shall listen
to my softly spoken words
you won the race to my heart
you came 1st 2nd and 3rd
ive sure missed your smile
and your infectious grin

can i be your king*
can you be my partner
someone to love for life
i know that your my soulmate
will you be my wife
will you pause for a while
so i can take in air
can i be your him
will you be my her
beauty this natural
is so hard to find
unique like a diamond
your one of a kind
her peacefull compassion
her elegance and grace
every word that she speaks
washes over my face
spills into my ears
and then in my mind
shes always so thoughfull
shes luv-la and kind
i miss you my darling
i hope your not on your own
and i hope that you smile
as you pick up your phone
see that my mind is thinking of you
ive been writing this poem
since a quarter to two
to hear her say
i love you petah
no other girl
could ever say it sweeter
and my love is so glad
