he shouts and gets angry
coz his spouse has got pissed
all she wants is some freedom
because she is bored
her feelings are trivial
and always ignored
how can a husband
love and then hate
the woman he married
his wife and soul mate
in the west she is like
any other lass
but here shes treated
like shes second class
and its happening all around me
in every villa and house
frightened and timid
scared like a mouse
doors are slammed
and children hide
as he breaks wedding vows
and turns on his bride
physical or verbal there is no excuse
for misconduct and violence
and domestic abuse
does he not remember
how he came to be
all girls become women
then mothers you see
