I Want Someone: Poem

I want to hold someone
until they can't breathe
and I slowly fall asleep
in my deep blue sleep.

I want to look at someone
and know where I want to be.
My eyes grow weak
from holding on to everything.

Dreaming of all the things
we could be.
Are you even good for me?

I want to cry
until I can't breathe.

I want someone to kiss me and say,
'It's just you and me.'
Do you even like me?

I want someone to be infected by me,
blooming in shadows only I can see.
Do you want to kiss me?

I want someone to understand me
for me.
Look at me.
Tell me what you really feel for me.

And I can't believe
what they seem to speak,
how it touches me.
My eyes grow weak!

Dreaming of all the things
we could be in my sleep.
I hate that I express myself so deeply.

I want to love someone
even when I know
they are hurting me.
Is this bad for me?

And I can't breathe
beneath my feet—
a sense of vulnerability.

I want to see.
Let me see.

I want to love someone
that drives me insane!
The love they feel,
but I can't seem to see.

Is there something wrong with me?
