I Want To Fly Like Poem by SYLVESTER AMPAH

I Want To Fly Like

I want to fly
Fly higher than I could,
Fly till the trees could no longer hold my feet.

We use to fly in group
We use to scavenge for food
But I've been told my feathers are too weak to fly.

Ooo winds of the field come and throw me on the highest place called the pinnacle,
where any can't see!
A Place I will call home
A Place I will rebuild my feathers
A Place I will come out strong and fly to celebrate my
dreams achieved.
