To when our lives were carefree
And to when it was only you and me

To when we played all day long
And to when our friendship didn't seem wrong

To when I could talk to you
And to when you always showed me what to do

To when we stayed up all night
And to when laying by your side felt right

I want to go back
To when life seemed fair
And to when you were always standing there

I want to go back
To when time was on our side
And to when we didn't have to hide

To when we were never mad
And to before we gave up all that we had!
