I Want To Sing A Song Poem by Jude Rubangakene

I Want To Sing A Song

I want to sing a song, that speaks to hearts and minds
A melody that echoes, with a message that teaches good in the world
Not just a rhythm that makes you move your feet
But a symphony that inspires and opens your eyes.
I want to sing of corruption, that's feastingat our core
The greed, the lies, the injustice, that we can't ignore
I want to sing of freedom, that's not just a word we say
But a reality that we want to live, every single day.
I want to sing of culture, that's rich and diverse
A heritage that's woven, with threads of tradition, young and old
I want to sing of customs, that bring us joy and delight
That connect us to our roots, and shine a light on what's right.
I want to sing of tradition, that's passed down through the ages
A legacy that's cherished, with tales, stories, songs, and tears
I want to sing of our ancestors, who paved the way for us to thrive
Who taught us to respect, to honor, and to survive.
I want to sing oflove, that's not just a feeling or a word
Love, that's not just a romantic tale
But a choice that we make every day, to put others first and be heard
I want to sing of love, that's real and true and kind
A melody that echoes, with a message that's one of a kind
Thelovethat heals the broken heart
Thatbrings hope to the hopeless, and mends the heart and mind.
I want to sing of success, that's not just about the fame
But a reality that we build, with every single step and every single pace
And thejourney, the struggles, and the lessons learned along the way.
Let me sing of hope, that's the light in the darkest night
The beam that guides us, through the struggles and the fight
Let me sing of unity, that's not just a dream we chase
Let me sing a song, that's not just a melody so sweet
But a message that resonates and callsto action that we can't retreat.
