I Wanted You Poem by Melikhaya Patrick Yoko

I Wanted You

I saw a wife into you physique.
My love for you was unique.
I didn't want anything more than just love.
Sex was the only thing I expected from our love.

The clock turned and you swayed your view,
You changed and you were not you.
No calls no text and rumours spread,
I felt betrayed when I heard,
Nearly put a gun to my head

I wanted you

I am where I am from where you left me.
I built a new structure from nothing now you crave me.
To disregard you would only be fair.

I wanted you that means i no longer do.
I do what i do,
you do what you do
i will do what i have to do.
