I Was Famous Once Poem by Matthew Petranovich

I Was Famous Once

Rating: 0.5

</></>I was famous once,
even though,
that's not the way it seems,
and it all happened,
once apon a dream.

It happened in class,
in happened in the halls,
it was everywhere,
on the school walls.

All my friends
surrounded me,
and I was happy as could be,
but it all ended very fast,
I didn't know it would be the last time,
I would ever seen them again,
and I know eventually I will make new friends,
But I don't want any of my old friendships to end.

Not because I was famous or popular,
or even because I felt unstoppable,
but because I really cared,
and we all shared snacks,
and now, friendship is a thing I lack.

Yes, me,
who would of thought,
that I was famous once?

A nifty concept, friendship as fame. Great, I'd like to see that developed further. Read mine - Where the Polar Winds Blow - Adeline
