I Was Lost In This Fight Poem by Erickson Amion

I can still remember some time in my life
Met somebody who always keeps me alive
Every moment has been a wonderful day
When I'm with you the joy's never gone away

I never lasted a day not thinking of you
For it' is the only way not to feel blue
And nothing can stop me in feeling this way
Even though I know it would put me in pain

I was never wrong how painful it could be
But that never ceased me in letting this be
Still gave it away coz this'd make me feel free
For loving you's the best gift that's given me

I started to feel weak and try give up
For it's the only option that I would have
To let go off everything so it flies up
Setting you free makes me feel I'm being trapped

You might not imagine how painful it was
For within me I don't know how to surpass
I was counting the days for it never lasts
Pain'd only go away if I let it cast

I've moved on and trying to get used to it
But loving you is never easy to quit
Promise to love you without any merit
Coz this lets me keep up and full of spirit

Thanks for inspiring me starting my day right
You've awaken my soul and made my day bright
Making a vow to love you all day and night
Even though I know I was lost in this fight
