I Was Never Ink... Poem by Nestor David Armas

I Was Never Ink...

I wish she'd miss

But she'd rather diss,

I was never ink

She's severed the link,

Our bridge is in the chasm

I was but a spasm,

She's been over

Lost my four leaf clover,

I'm dead and dying

But I can't keep from lying,

To my broken heart

Wasn't real from the start,

I used to hold her hand

But now I feel like a bag of sand,

Because I was so high In the clouds,

I didn't ask why,

But I almost had it all

And I didn't think I would fall,

Only in the sunsets it dawns on me

To have nothing is to be totally free...
