I Will Forever Miss You Poem by Adegbite Adeyinka

I Will Forever Miss You

I will forever miss you
These words I speak are true
My heart aches each time I remember
I'd promised you a love to be forever

You're the beautiful gleaming light
My Sun prides when it is shines bright

I caused pain to cloud your smile
To make it right, I'll walk the mile

I'll keep each promise I make
I'll give all it could take
If I had the chance to make it right
But could it change a thing, Mrs Wright?

You've fallen into the arms of another
While my journey will go no further

I cannot keep you out of view
I dream, each night, of my life with you
I know this plea is nothing new
But know the words I speak are true
As I have nothing else to do
Than to forever think of you.
