I Will Never Give In Poem by Poetic Judy Emery

I Will Never Give In

Resting in cold darkness
a place I truly would never miss
If I every left this place
Darken Dreams
is what my soul bleeds
coldness is on my skin
is hard to breath within
what others think is fantasy
I think Pain
I could no longer remember
what it feels like
to be warm
what it feels like to be Loved
Oh, how the rain been coming down
with no end to this darkness
my hands and fingers rubbing together
trying to feel the warmth
but all I feel is the numbness
that is taken place
Oh, how I can no longer feel my face
what a disgrace
My hair is long and black
my eyes are gray blue
yet green when I get mean
the color of the sand
that is underneath my feet
tells me so many things
the tasting of rain
tells me I'm still in pain
but not insane
Oh' hear comes more rain
my flesh is getting weaker by the days
by blood is flowing like the sea
Oh, I feel I cannot breath
my lungs need fresh air
my tongue is dry
my body feels like ice
memories that drew me back to him
the one who made me like this
my mind has grown dim
but my eyes see all things
even in Darken Dreams
Oh, how I do scream
Dark Angel is cutting at me deep
but I will never give in
I will not let him take my innocence of truth
I will never let that part of me go
He is killing at my emotions
stalking me out
watching my ever moves
he is something that is so intoxicated
he is a nightmare
But I will never let him take my crown.
