I Will Run To You Poem by A B Faniki

I Will Run To You

Rating: 5.0

Tear the sky apart and
come down, so that I can
run to you for refuge;
People's best action is filthy
through and through; they
pay back evil for good;
like a flood that is
passed and remembered no more
they forget faithfulness and love.
My heart is heavy, the
burden on my soul has
brought me down on my knees.
While I bare my soul and
heart to you let me learn
to give honor to you by
running to you. Don't break my
heart by rejecting me and
my own, Adonia: I will always
run to you because your
love for me is as deep
as the ocean.

I would use " people's evil actions" " verb.. bare uncover (a part of the body or other thing) and expose it to view." even i get bear and bare confused! so, i say use " I bare my soul and heart to you" Here: " flood that is past" ..i think " passed" is proper. " past" is not to be used as a verb, if that's what you were doing. OCEAN? that can be deep! to MyPoemList bri :)
