so I could hold each second a little longer.

I wish your laughter could echo forever,
a melody that never fades.

I wish the distance between us
was nothing more than a step.

I wish love could be as simple as breathing,
as natural as the rising sun.

I wish my hands could hold all your sorrows,
so you'd never have to bear them alone.

I wish the world was kinder to you,
the way you've always been to me.

I wish you knew how much I love you,
without needing a single word.
