I Wish I Could Sail Your Eyes Poem by ritu gangele

I Wish I Could Sail Your Eyes

i wish i could sail your eyes,
drink every dropp from your lips,
elicit words still left unspoken,
and banter on every fragment of our night.

i wish i could sail your eyes,
and dissipate into every palatable part of your soul,
taste every word that fell from your lips,
and make dim memories of every thread that would emerge from this night.

i wish i could sail your eyes,
and feel you in my flesh,
and forget about every floating darkness,
just submerge into your sea.
Your every approach would leave me breathless, pulling the air out of my lungs.

i wish i could sail your eyes,
into the deafening cascade of secret love pouring upon me,
like nectar of wine rippened from freshly produce grapes.

i wish i could sail your eyes,
and leave this haunted world behind,
in the distance beyond my wildest hopes
enveloped in our two souls,
I WISH I COULD SAIL YOUR EYES.
