I wish they knew
I'm worse at what I do best
I'm not like them
But I can pretend
I think I'm dumb
And for this gift I feel blessed.
I wish they knew
As my bones grew they did hurt
They hurt really bad
Bodies, can't you see what everybody wants from you?
I wish they knew
I'm living off of grass
In the pines
Where the sun don't ever shine
I would shiver the whole night through.
What else should I say?
All my words are grey
Everything is not my fault
But I'll take the blame.
I wish they knew
The memory is cruel
Time is nothing but a lie.
Weather changes moods
While I'm waiting for the sun
The space around me is very quiet
So I breathe in, and close my eyes
I can feel her warmth inviting me to dance.

all are grey, beautiful with truth
