I think about you constantly
I think about your eyes
I think about your lips
I think about our time together
What we would say
And what we would do
What would I love about you?
What would you love about me?
Would love the way I smile
Or the way I listen to you
Or the way I talk with my hands
Would I love the way you look at me?
Would I love the way you introduce me?
Would I love the way you hold my hand while we’re out?
Would we be happy?
Would it last?
It’s just a bunch of questions
That I’d rather not ask
Because if I do I’ll find out the truth
The truth about why you left me
The truth about why we will never be together again
About the truth to why we never really were together
I know the answers but I just rather not face them
You’re happy now
I’m happy now
Do any of those questions matter
I don’t think they do
Not to me anyway
Knowing the answers doesn’t help you heal
Doesn’t help you let you go
It just drags you back under
And I’ve became accustomed to breathing without you
Honestly, I don’t think I could go under again
It was too hard learning to breath without the first time
Let alone now
I won’t ask the questions
When we both already hold the answers
