I Won'T Hurt Him Poem by hated failure

I Won'T Hurt Him

She hurt him a lot
That much is clear,
Of course he has
A lot to fear.

I don't blame him
But can't understand
How to make him
Realize I won't hurt him.

I would tell him I won't,
But that's what she did.
He believed her;
Look where he ended up.

The problem is that
No one can
Predict if they'll hurt
The one they say
They won't.

So I have to
Try and prove
I won't hurt him.
I can't hurt him.
But will he let me?
