I Wonder Most Times Poem by Hakima Smaali

I Wonder Most Times

I wonder most times
Whether I’m good or not
Whether I can make it or not
Whether I have what it takes
What takes to make it to the top
Am I talented? can I really write?

When I’m sad
When I need company
If it’s all looks so bad
I just ask my pen for help
Help me write out my misery
Help me let go, forget my sorrow
I want to be strong, stop being sorry
Sorry for living?
Or sorry for loving?
It doesn’t feel alright
When you question your self
Question your abilities
When you lose confidence in whom you are
When your dreams feels unreachable, so far
I work hard
I try my best
But I’m afraid I don’t have what it takes
I’m afraid I can’t fly
And I’ll end up falling down leaving this safe nest
Fall instead of climbing up
I’m not a beardy with an instinct
To know what to do
I’m a girl with no idea, no clue
Don’t know what’s a lie in my
Or what’s true

It’s a hell being in my shoe
