I wonder who she is
That keeps tap tap tapping
On my mind?

She disappears from my
Thoughts…but only

For a moment.

Then, there she is again
Rapping and waking me
In my 4 o’clock slumber.

She walks like silk flowing
Through the shadows
Of my fingertips;

She lives…yet I cry
For in thoughts can
I only see her.

Oh if I could only
Jump in time
To meet her

Would I sacrifice
My now….
