I Wouldn'T Be So Alone Poem by Courtney Casebolt

I Wouldn'T Be So Alone

Even though I heard your voice, it still made me cry
you're probably wondering why
I just feel as if I'm blind
I can only hear you
because you're no where in sight
and as I hold my pillow tight
and cry throughout the night
I realized how much I needed you
How much I want you
and how much I really love you
if you would just come home
I wouldn't be so alone
Every time I speak your name
I wish that everything was the same
but now you're gone
and life goes on
as the nights grow long
why did you have to go?
