I write for a reason
I write for a purpose
I write
Because I have thoughts I need to express
Words I have to get off my chest

A therapeutic release
Sat inside a box
Pent up emotions
Are released

I write about how I feel
In regards to the world around me
The sights
My eyes have to see

I write as a poet
Because I have a heart
Which, is poetic
In the vessels of my veins
Flow poetical lines
I write
Compelled because of this
I write
For my love for the art of poetry
Is almost endless.
