Icy Heart Poem by Brianna Wilshusen

Icy Heart

Heart as cold as ice,
Eyes from the sky.
Beauty beyond compare,
Yet evil I cannot bare.
A lovely sight to see,
In a morning of glee.
My heart sets afire,
To see such a bright liar.
Heart full of hate,
My own debate.
Lover or fighter,
For mine you shall be.
Ripped and torn,
His life shorn.
My true love rings true,
Hos love is cruel.
He can change me,
I can change him.
For now that we love,
Our lives together.
A spiral of confusion,
His heart begins to open.
Hatred of his past,
Brings forth our future.
Forever shall we live,
In eternal rest.
He has changed me,
In ways beyond compare.
As I have changed him,
No heart of ice.
