Idle Hands Poem by Nakia Crespin

Idle Hands

I'm sorry if I start to pout,
But there's this lady I must tell you about,
She has long Hair and eyes a beautiful shade of brown,
I'll always try to lift her spirits whenever she is down,
She has this certain glow to her which I can't explain,
She can ease your heart and mind even through the hardest pain,
She can bring joy to your heart and put a smile on your face,
She can turn your day from grey 2 blue without a single trace,
Then one day she decided to do her favortie drug of choice,
She came home that night had so much hatred in her voice,
As the years pass on mostly everything remains the same,
Now this lady's gone, i'm very sad and remian with lots of shame,
She had drifted away from the lady I once trusted and dearly loved,
and now instead of giving hugs they are replaced with violent shoves,
For many years I wondered, why this lady changed,
This wasn't her, it couldn't be, this lady was just so strange,
The glow that she onece had, is now replaced with hate
I really want to love her but i feel it is to late
These yars that have passed have made me stop and think,
That maybe things would've been better if I would've took the time to be suppportive of her dreams,
But my life was smashed faster than hers came crumbling down
all because the drug game seemed like her only way out
She's the most beautiful person i wish others can see
Past all the pain and anguish she has given me
She is like an angel sent from distant lands
to prove a point to all of us that drugs can give us idle hands
I know she never meant for things to be this way
But as soon as those drugs hit her mind

MY MOMMY WENT INSAINE!
