If Poem by Sandra James

If

If I could feel everyone's pain, if I could feel every tear off of someone's face.
Would I be able to relate?
If I could feel everyone's happiness, if I could feel every spark of delight.
Would I be able to shine as bright?
If I could feel everyone's sadness, if I could feel everyone's frustration.
Would I be able to reach out and comfort them?
If I could feel everyone's fear, if I could take away what scares them.
Would this world be a better place?

~ If you felt my pain
If you felt my happiness
If you felt my sadness
If you felt my fears
Tell me...Would you be there?

The message in this poem is all there is to be done in this life. I guess if we can do this even God would come down. But unfortunately someone's pain and sorrow are lessons that he needs to learn therefrom. And you cannot learn it for him. Life is a field of action and reaction, the lesson given to us in Jesus well known saying: give the other cheek But I love this brave writing. Well done. Mohabeer Beeharry
