If I Can'T Have You Poem by Leroy A. Curry

If I Can'T Have You

Emptiness is filled with me
She and I are one
The vows we bled embedded our destiny
etched in granite stone
The WHOLE you left as you left
left me a part and alone
Alluring her vulturistic nature
she, a surgeon to my wound
Confession: primarily daunted by her reputation
comatose lain from her remedy
First impression absolved, slowly embraced her resolve
my soulmate first thought to be my enemy
Thoughts of you no more, her embrace I adore
I've recited her deception true
I need to live her lie, I do til I die
the only way to get by, IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU!
