If I Had My Way

stuck here in time
spinning my wheels
i am
standing
still
lost forever
in a memory
without
a chance
to move forward
on past
this hiccup in life
a weakness
has hold of me
holding on
is not an option
it is
merely
a life
or
death
decision
i must make
each
and
every
single day
for
the
rest
of
my life.
