If I Knew Poem by Jessica Lynn Sumahit

If I Knew

if i knew loving you would hurt this bad,
i wouldn't have started loving you.
if i knew you would lie to me like this,
i never would have listen to things u said.

if i knew promises lost their meaning,
i never would have trusted yours.
if i knew me and you would only crash and burn,
i never would have gotten on the ride.

if i knew nothing would come from us,
i would never put my self involved.

but
from you hurting me, i get happiness.
from you lien to me, i get love.
from you braking promises, i can tell some one the truth.

from you playing games, i can run them from now on.
from the nothingness of us, i am getting a bundle of joy,
love, truth, laughs and growth.
