Blue Bird Poem by Jessica Lynn Sumahit

Blue Bird

little birdy, little birdy, fill my head with wisdom.
Do me a favor, take a message back,
just let him how how much i miss him.
Tell him how he's my world, my light, my everything.
How he's stole my soul, made me see in color instead of shades
of gray, and became a reason of my being.
Whisper tales of my lost smile and stories of my lonely cries.
When i think about not seeing him again, a part of me always dies.
Let him know i need to feel his love and care, and how empty
i feel with out him being there.
My bed is made for 2, and all that's missing is you.
i never want to see you cry or see a reason for a tear in your eye. LOVE WAS NEVER LOST.
but sometimes i feel like it cant be found.
hearing about you and her. my heart hits the ground.
I'm always going to love you.
and that will never change my heart still wants you and
that will remain the same.
my eyes cry for you because they're starting to see some gray.
and my empty arms still reach out for you in hope that you'll always stay.

i love you
i miss you
don't leave me
i need you
be mine forever
crazy how the words i need to hear the most come in 3's
