If I Were Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

If I Were

If I were
I I were ocean, I might not have parted
Into two walls either side,to let go holy man
Through the space between two.
Rather I allow him to walk
Above the surface of water.
If were neck of a man with ten heads
I will definitely refuse to carry
The load of ten heads or
Might have suggestedor him
To manage ten necks.
I get puzzled to notice
Why did ancient Surgeon
Forget to measure
Diameter of elephant's neck
With that of man before
Transplant of head of elephant.
If I were burning star
I might have cooled myself
So that someone needn't have
To bother to swallow me.
If I were invisible like wind
I might be able to discover
Ancient mystery Hidden inside Womb.
