If I Were Dying Poem by Jason Brogdon

If I Were Dying

Rating: 5.0

If I were dying and I pray that it hurts
I lay here and wonder why death only flirts
I pray that it ends and I want it so bad
This pisses me off, it makes me so mad
Why is it so hard to just let it all be
To lay down and die and let me be free
End all my suffering with a really quick blow
Just a shot to the head and watch the blood flow
Problems all ended and misery all gone
A razor blade cuts straight down to the bone
So lonely and scared I just want it to cease
Just leave me alone and give me some peace
With body growing weak and mind slipping way
I sit back and wonder what more can I say
