If Love Poem by Aiver Suing

If Love

If love was leaf that's auburn
my love was spring after autumn
If love was ice that's melting
my love, permafrost, unthawing
If love was poem sweetly rhymed
my love was poet timely fined
If love was falls that's gushing down
my love, dauntless, a knightly gown
If love was ring that nearly fits
my love, unfading, precisely hits
If love was dusk that's fading wryly
my love was dawn breaking brightly
If love was dove that signs for peace
My love its feathers, unfetteredease
If love was blind that's gently tapping
my love was clear, never napping
If love was stout boasting might
My love was stouter than beastly blight
