If only I cared for you
The way you care for me
But sadly I don’t care for you
It can never ever be
I once thought I did
But we’re better off as friends
Forever’s just a simple word
There always is an end.
I apologize to you
For dragging you along
It was selfish and immortal
To keep it up so long
If only I could go back
I’d change the times we had
Make you forget the days
All the times I made you mad
If only you knew I felt this way
Then maybe you’d understand
But I guess this is the best
I could think of, a note in my hand
I’m sorry to say that my feelings changed
They’re not the same any more
I use to think about you everyday
But that was before
