If only we could taste how depth feels…
I don't think we would ever quite eat the same
The taste that never quite leaves the tongue
The sweetness immeasurable
As it slicks and sticks, penetrating every receptor
Until the rich undertones of smoke fills the mouth
The slow burn creeps down the throat
Thrusting whiskey heat into every vein and every muscle
Until it melts so boldly and quietly in your heart
Could you imagine what that tastes like?
I don't think you could ever forget!
