If Only You Knew Poem by Celia Acosta

If Only You Knew

If only I can reach out and touch you,
press my lips against yours,
anytime, day or night.

If only my dreams of you would turn into a reality,
bringing us together until the end of time.

If only you knew how you live in me,
when I’m awake,
and in my dreams.

If only you knew you stole my heart,
unlocking my love
opening up my emotions,
which had before died.

If only you can see
when you look into my eyes,
the reflection of you and me.

If only you knew you were the one,
I’ve been waiting for all my life.

If only I knew,
you already knew.

Baby, I love you

if only i knew, you already knew...true harlequin romance stuff. smile...but the anguish makes the story, doesn't it? in real life, though, excrutiating.
