If Only You Learn Wisdom From Gypsies Poem by John Sensele

If Only You Learn Wisdom From Gypsies

Cantakerous chords
In a crowded canteen
Sung out of tune on fords
No sober society condones at nineteen.

Crimson colours hidden
Concealed in seals of deceit
Fraternizing the fruit forbidden
Lest you should receive a rejection receipt.

Casual composure
In matters demanding etiquette
Can't win you the pleasure
To feast at a high table with your treason ticket.

Quit the forum of invited intellectuals
Hobnob with hippies
With whom you resuscitate rituals
If only you learnt live lessons from Gypsies.
