If Pains Be Flowers
if pains are flowers
of different sized and colors
and scents
and varieties
then if you only see me
the truth around me
i am filled with flowers
all over my hair
all over my body
around my days and hours
so many flowers spread in bed
in the bathtub
on the floor.
