Hollow words fall on deaf ears
and that's the cause of many tears
I would never make you cry
cause inside I would die

Your a friend this is true
but I've developed feelings for you
When you smile I smile more
the gleam in your eyes make me soar

You like another and that is fine
knowing that you'll never be mine
I pray that life works out for you
in everything you want to do

To see you happy would make my day
but that still won't take these feelings away
