If Tomorrow Wins... Poem by Raimi Babatunde

If Tomorrow Wins...

If tomorrow wins
the glory will be todays'
but I must pay the price.

If my ship berths safely today
don't just celebrate the feats
I was made by so many storms.

There is a price tag for every prize
if you know my pain, you'll appreciate my praise
and all through, I never said never.

If tomorrow wins
the world will know my name
For 'victoria ascerta' for those who believe.
