If You Can't Poem by Aamir Abdullah

If You Can't

If you can't
Preserve my fragrance
Before I stop breathing
into the heart of a flower
keep my witheredness
With the petals as bookmark
Where we couldn't
Write a love poem
And the page was left blank...forever

If you can't
save my image
Into the corner of your eye
Where colors with all their
Shades and moods... Sparkle
Hide me behind the salt
Into your tears
And let me create for you
Images beyond imagination

If you can't
Enter with me
Into an ultimate nothingness
For a dance so perfect
Let me die into your heart
Silently and complacently! ! !
