Into A Juggler's Hands Poem by Aamir Abdullah

Into A Juggler's Hands

Toss me, toss me up
In a second and a centisecond
Once and twice and thrice
Keep me tossing with the rings
The blue and the red and the grey
From your legs across
And from back of your hands
By looking far into the skies
Higher and higher in a trance
Swirl me around your arms and wrists and feet
Pass me by shoulders and your neck
Catch me with knives
Fixed into my eyes
Fire that turns me to ash
And saws, which lacerate my flesh

Toss me, toss me up
But don't let me go far
Far from your reach
Away from your grip
Keep me bonded by the strings
Rising from your finger tips
Strings of an attraction____ unseen
Don't let me breathe in comfort
Toss me, toss me up
Without any regret of hurting me! !
